By registering and using the TapNGo Event Monitoring System, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not register.
2. Purpose of the System
TapNGo is an event attendance monitoring system designed for Northwest Samar State University - San Jorge Campus (NWSSU-SJC). It tracks student attendance at university-organized events through QR code scanning.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. Your student ID, name, and program details are verified against official university records. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
4. QR Code Usage
Upon registration, a unique QR code is generated for your account. This QR code is strictly personal and must not be shared, duplicated, or used by anyone other than the registered student. Misuse of QR codes may result in disciplinary action.
5. Data Collection and Privacy
The system collects and processes the following personal information:
- Student ID, full name, email address, and phone number
- Program, year level, and section
- Event attendance records and timestamps
- Login session data
All data is collected solely for academic and administrative purposes related to event monitoring and student attendance tracking.
6. Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your personal information. Your data is stored securely and will not be shared with unauthorized third parties. Access to personal data is limited to authorized university administrators and organization officers.
7. Student Responsibilities
- Maintain the security of your login credentials
- Ensure your QR code is only used by you
- Report any unauthorized access to your account immediately
- Comply with university rules regarding event attendance
8. Limitation of Liability
NWSSU-SJC and the TapNGo development team shall not be held liable for any technical issues, data loss, or system downtime that may affect attendance recording. Disputes regarding attendance records should be reported to the respective organization or administrator.
9. Modifications
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the system after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
